MY STORY

LAUREN BRUGNATELLI, PASTRY CHEF

Having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with my Associate's in Baking and Pastry Arts as well as my Bachelor's in Food Business Management, I am well rounded in the pastry world. I have worked at prestigious places such as Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Castle Hotel and Spa, and Westchester Country Club.

When I am baking, I feel nothing but happiness. It is something I have and will always love. Baking brings back childhood memories with my Nana. We would make biscotti and watch cooking shows together ever since I can remember. From then on, I knew what I was meant to do. 

I love the thought of making beautiful things for others. The joy on the faces of people when they see my desserts is indescribable. To know I can make a special occasion a little more special is an amazing feeling. I want to bake and decorate desserts which make others happy, just as baking makes me happy. I want to transport people back to another time in their life which is memorable, such as the times with my Nana.
